2019-now, Associate Professor, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics

2018-2020, Hong Kong Scholar, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (supervisor: Gang Li)

2015-2019, Assistant Professor, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics

2010-2015, Ph.D., Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of science (supervisor: Can Li).

2006-2010, Bachelor degree, Hunan Normal University.

Research Interests:

1. Interface engineering on organic solar cells and perovskite solar cells

The interface layer plays significant role in improving the efficiency and stability of organic solar cells and perovskite solar cells. This project is aimed at developing ideal novel interface materials with low price, friendly environment, good electrical conductivity, which can be used for large area devices with roll-to-roll technology. Then, the mechanism of interface layer, especially the exciton separation and carrier transport at interfaces is studied.

2. Photoelectrochemical conversion and electrocatalysis powered by photovoltaics

Artificial photosynthesis is mimicking nature to convert CO¬¬2 and H2O into value-added chemicals using solar energy. This becomes the primary research focus in our group. This project investigates photoelectrochemical conversion (PEC) and electrocatalysis powered by photovoltaics (PV-EC) to reduce water into hydrogen and to electro-reduce CO2 into chemicals/fuels.
