Haidong Zhang came from Chongqing city, a famous mountain city located in Southwest China and the fourth municipality of China. He spent four years from 2001.8 to 2005.8 in this group as a doctoral student. His doctoral thesis is mainly about the selective oxidation of methane to C1-oxygenates on antimony oxide and antimony-vanadium mixed oxide catalysts.
