I graduated in the Department of Environmental Science of Wuhan University in July 1996. In September of the same year, I entered the State Key Laboratory of Catalysis, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics to achieve my PhD entitled ¨Preparation and Characterization of Transition Metal Nitride Catalysts¨. From October 2000 to September 2001, I joined one group in the Institute of Catalysis and Petroleum Chemistry in Madrid, working on ¨Selective Hydrogenation Reactions on Nitride Catalysts¨, which is also a part of my PhD thesis.
