Prof. Can Li attended the 15th International Symposium on Relations between Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Catalysis on September 12th , he delivered the plenary lectures named "Homogeneous Chiral Catalysis in Heterogeneous Nanoreactors". During the symposium, Prof. Li was invited to visit the Inorganic Department of the Fritz-Haber Institute by Prof. Dangsheng Su.
On September 15th, Prof. Can Li met with Professor Ertl, the Nobel Prize winner in 2007, State Key Laboratory of Catalysis International Advisory Board. Prof. Ertl concerned about our research work, and cordially asked the recent development of the State Key Laboratory of Catalysis.
Prof. Li also met the Chinese students in the Inorganic Department. They ate some moon cakes and drank tea together and discussed the current research situation at home and aboard. Prof. Li, with his own life experiences, encouraged the students to return China in the future, contributed to the development of the motherland.
