The 7th National Conference on Chemical Biology (NCCB) was held in Nanjing from August 26th to 29th. The 7thNCCB was hosted by Chinese Chemical Society, held by Nanjing University and sponsored by 8 state key labs. The conference is containing 12 plenary lectures, 56 invited reports, 64 oral presentations and 287posters.
Prof. Li was invited to give a plenary lecture entitled “Chirality: spectroscopic characterization and chemical biology significance”. The lecture contains the recent progress on chiral spectroscopies (VCD and ROA) and biocatalysis, which shows the significance of chirality in Chemical Biology.
